Alcohol-Free Red Wine - What to Consider When Choosing and Buying

Red wine thrives on structure, depth, and character – qualities that can be preserved during dealcoholization if the process is right. For senzo wine, we use vacuum evaporation: the alcohol is removed at low temperatures, which better protects the wine's aroma and body than more heat-intensive methods. The alcohol content is reduced to 0.0% vol. In our range, you will currently find the senzo Cabernet Sauvignon – available as a single bottle or in a 6-bottle bundle.

What Distinguishes Cabernet Sauvignon as an Alcohol-Free Red Wine

Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most renowned red wine grape varieties worldwide. It is known for its distinct tannin structure, dark fruit aromas such as blackcurrant and blackberry, and good acidity. These characteristics define the wine even after dealcoholization – when you pour a glass, you get a red wine with a recognizable character, not just a thin fruit alternative.

As with any wine, the result in the glass depends on the initial product, the vintage, and the processing. Cabernet Sauvignon, as a structured variety, has good prerequisites to remain interesting even without alcohol.

Who is Alcohol-Free Red Wine Suitable For?

Alcohol-free red wine fits many life situations: for pregnant and breastfeeding women, for people who abstain from alcohol for health, religious, or personal reasons, as well as for anyone who needs to drive in the evening or is taking medication that excludes alcohol. Even those who want to reduce their alcohol consumption in general, without giving up the ritual of a glass of red wine, will find a sensible alternative here. Since the calorie content of alcohol-free wine is significantly lower than that of its alcoholic counterpart, it is also relevant for anyone who is mindful of their energy intake.

What should I choose - a single bottle or a 6-bottle bundle?

The single bottle of alcohol-free Cabernet Sauvignon is suitable for getting to know the wine or for a specific occasion. The 6-bottle bundle is the more economical choice for those who drink the wine regularly or want to stock up for a celebration. Practical: When you buy the bundle, you not only save compared to buying 6 individual bottles, but you also benefit from free shipping within Germany.
